  • Shakespeare’s Birthplace

    Here Shakespeare’s early years come to life as you wander through the house of his boyhood. Along the way, you can see what he achieved during his life and how he became the celebrated writer he is today.

    Shakespeare’s Properties

    Visit Hall’s Croft (17th Century home of Shakespeare’s eldest daughter, Susanna, and her husband Dr John Hall) and Nash’s House, where Shakespeare died in 1616. Wander through the picturesque gardens and see where his house New Place used to stand.

    Holy Trinity Church

    Holy Trinity Church is one of England’s most beautiful churches and here is where Shakespeare is buried… The tombstone is rumoured to be cursed so think twice before you touch it!

    Royal Shakespeare Theatre

    Situated on Waterside near the river, this theatre is home to the Royal Shakespeare Company who regularly put on Shakespeare’s most iconic plays. It features some of the original building and has recently been renovated. We can book you a ticket to see a play or arrange a guided Behind the Scenes tour.

    Warwick Castle

    This is an exceptionally ancient castle dating back 1100 years and is absolutely breathtaking. There is so much to see from the dungeons where unfortunate prisoners were kept, to regular re-enactments of events from history like jousting. You can go into the tower and take part in an amazing interactive experience along with the dragon.

    Butterfly Farm

    Enjoy the unique pleasure of watching hundreds of the world’s most spectacular and colourful butterflies flying all around. You can see them feeding and flying in a wonderful tropical environment

    Hop on, Hop off Bus Tours around Stratford-Upon-Avon

    Take a wonderful tour on an open top bus, taking in 14 places along the route. These include Shakespeare’s Birthplace and his school, Royal Shakespeare Theatre and The Holy Trinity Church. The tour also includes commentary on all the places and you can hop off wherever you like.

    Cadbury World – Chocolate Factory
